The Reagan Lacrosse Association (RLA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide children in San Antonio, particularly in the Reagan HS attendance zone, with the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse.
Volunteer parents, friends and family members are the key to RLA’s ability to implement a plan of success for getting your athlete the required training he/she needs. An organization of this size relies on a strong volunteer network. We are always looking for dedicated people to help with all phases of the program.
Please keep in mind that our Board, coaches and current volunteers are parents with full time jobs outside of the club. The bigger the network of engaged families, the better chance we have of creating and maintaining a healthy & productive system that allows all parents to participate in their athlete’s success.
Below, you’ll find a list of positions that we need help filling for the season. Most of them require multiple volunteers in order to allow a rotation schedule.
If you’re interested in serving in any of the following positions, please complete a seasonal volunteer form or contact us at
or complete an application HERE for any non-coaching position to express your interest.
HIGH PRIORITY POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:
Middle School & Youth Head & Assistant Coaches:
Those individuals with a desire to instruct or train athletes on the fundamentals of lacrosse and instill a spirit of competition in our teams. These individuals demonstrate leadership skills and the willingness to commit time to practices, games, prepare and plan a strategy for success and attend coaches meetings. A coach is the type of person that arrives early to practice and is willing to stay late until all athletes have been picked up.

Fundraising is an integral part of keeping dues as low as reasonably possible. We are in need of an individual(s) to help direct Reagan Lacrosse’s efforts to secure individual and corporate donors for our program. The importance of this role can’t be overstated. We need someone willing to be outgoing to help us retain our generous benefactors from past seasons and develop new ones. Somebody that’s willing to make phone calls and interact with businesses and business owners that support our program.
Player & Family Recruiting / Marketing Coordinator(s) - Reagan HS / Lopez MS / Bush MS & Elementary Schools
We want more student-athletes to be a part of our program; they’re the reason we exist! Although we won’t turn away those that want to play for us, we have league mandates that require our teams to have a certain minimum percentage of players that attend Reagan HS and those schools that feed into it. We are in need of parents of students in these schools that have good relationships with administration, teachers and parent-teacher groups that can use their influence to get the word out about our program and encourage kids to join.
